Obviously, since a TS251+ is a 2 bay model. Either that part is wrong, or the OP's description is wrong.
I'm betting on the OP's description, and it should be corrected/ignored. The actual Best Buy item/price is what counts.Wink

TS-251+ 2 bay... Epic fail on product description. TS-251+ (2 bay media server) / not 4... $294.99 currently on Amazon. It has been as low as $269 in December. Luke warm at best on price.

It's a 2 bay.... and a terrible price to boot. Thanks for setting my alarms off for nothing.

I still do not really understand why these are so darn expensive. I picked up a QNAP TS 651A(6bay) for <400 shipped a couple of months ago, yes a great deal it seems, but it's only okay. Granted, I only have 2xWD Blues (2TB) in there for testing, but the amount of off-the-self apps seems meh.

It also seems like most people are recommending the S brand vs. QNAP. Don't get me wrong, it seems okay, but this much plus another $500-1000k for disks?
