Don't know much about hoses. But will this be good enough for light garden and car washing?

Thanks OP! Got 2. Had points, used $35 in points, $5 surprise points, earned $6.40 back.

Also the 100 ft is on sale for $39 with $3.20 back in points. But 2x50ft is cheaper(more points back) and more versatile in my opinion.

One of the best hoses you can buy. I own several in different lengths. Well made all-rubber and should last a lifetime.

Oh yeah! These are the only ones I'll ever get. Ends don't squish, lifetime warranty, and never get crunchy.

Yep, real rubber. If you leave this in the hot sun for years a little black will rub off. Just amour all it when it is new or use that tire protectant.

Never turns black since they are already black.LMAO

The two I bought on the last sale (100') are display only in my man cave.

This shows it's the front page more frequently than any other deal on SD. It's hard to understand because this hose has some major problems. The hose itself is high-quality but it was also very heavy and leaves black marks all over the place and your hands. More importantly, the connections are cheap and not reinforced like almost every other hose on the market. A heavy hose coupled with an in reinforced connection leads to premature failure. It's happened to me and a number of other people that you can find in any thread on this hose. The lifetime warranty is highly suspect as well since there's so much trouble with the Craftsman brand. I highly doubt that the warranty will be valid in the next few years. There of been good deals on other hoses over the past few days. My devices by one of them. All of them have reinforced connections.

Sams club hoses have better ends but this one you can buy new ends. Don't see this hose wearing out in my lifetime, but a riding lawnmower will do it in and bend the blades on the mower.LMAO I think it said Made in USA on mine.

35 years ago I made water hoses out of 100' rolls of car radiator 3/4 inch rubber hose (the hoses on sale are a better value). Various family members still use them.

The quality of the rubber in these appears to be first class rubber. Armor-all your hose if a little black bothers you. The ends could be better for sure.

More serious issue with Sears! They process credits for cancelled items (by them) at a snails pace. Three weeks and still no credit on an order they cancelled. Don't ever use the local mom and pop stores for these bargains even if it says in stock. Use only the big mall store/ free ship and you will be ok.

Also I never had a serous issue with quality or warranty of Craftsman products/yet! just take it to any store and swap it out. Next year may be another issue as some of the stores are closing as well as Kmart at a rapid pace. Too bad as they were great stores in their hay day.

If we have to start keeping receipts in the future that will be a game changer. For "Lords of Kobalt tools", you just walk into any Lowes and it is a done deal. At least for me that works.

Craftsman was sold by Sears to Stanley/DeWalt so warranty should be ok when Sears and Kmart go away.

There is a comment from the product page: "Title calls the hose all rubber, disclaimer on teh back of package tells a different story. The hose is also made with lead making it unsafe for gardens and drinking water."

Anyone has experience/comment on that?

Thanks, I just bought this hose.

What nozzle do Slickdealers recommend?

One of the Craftsman nozzles?

Or another brand of nozzles?
