This deal exceeds the recent sale at Newegg on the Gigabyte 1070 mini, but the Zotac has an additional fan for cooling. This is perfect for anyone looking to build a VR ready mini-ITX gaming rig (like me).

Excellent fine OP! You could also use Staples' 110% price match to get it for $326.64. Discover card holders can redeem points for 20% off on Staples GCs.

Is there a difference between this and the regular sized card? Is this less powerful? Or is the only difference the size?

I have to think there's a trade-off somewhere with this. Maybe they don't cool as efficiently? I don't really know but if Nvidia could design them this small as a standard they presumably would.

The Discover gift cards are physical and take ages to get I think though.
They're digital and literally instant. Don't blow smoke.

The mini cards released are meant for mini-ITX system builds where the standard graphics form factor isn't an option without modding the case.

Shouldn't 1070s be going down in price soon also?

I agree with the poster after you. It looks like they cool better and the fans wouldn't have to run as fast on a bigger card to keep it cool creating less noise. I know these aren't the cards in the post but here's a comparison of mini vs full size. Looks close enough to me.

He doesn't care. The Lao just posts on SD to "brag" and troll. He knows the giant, 3-fan card he's talking about isn't relevant here. Either that, or he's just too stupid to grasp the concept.

Got a zotac 1070 during Black Friday, paid 300 on eBay, has been a great card, will play some games in 4K no problems. Everything else in 1080/1440p with ultra settings and you don't mind. Using a Sony 49" tv
