Descent monitor picked it up for $200 last Black Friday, for a TN panel the color shift is not bad and accuracy is about 99% SRGB but a few colors like yellow have a delta of nearly 5-6

where did you get it for 200? if it was 200 at Black Friday then the monitor must be one of the cheaper types.

Not sure how TheKash got it for $200 but it was widely listed on SD at multiple vendors for $250 on BF 2016.

This is a solid entry into 28" 4K, clearly not top of the line, but for half the price of those, a great option for most people. I have it and love it for most any need, personally.

thanks for the reply. did you face any problems wit this monitor? how long have you owned it?

also do you do any 4k gaming, and if so how is the monitor?

I'm in the market for a 4k monitor and have been searching for a while. that's why I ask. thanks.

Biggest problem is that its big/thick, and the stand can wobble a bit if not on a solid surface. Had it since BF, as a preemptive to upgrading to a Vega GPU so unfortunately I cant speak on 4K gaming but from what researched the performance was good, just a minor step down in color range and response time from the premium options. Hope that helps!

Slight off topic, but what's the min GPU I need to have 4K primary monitor and a side 1200x1600 4:3 monitor for reviewing docs? I review PDFs and Words often so I'm used to having a side Dell to do that but looking to upgrade primary from 1600p to a 4K monitor. Thx.

No games?
Then any current GPU will work.

I got this during the BF sale as well. No issues to this day. Typing in it right now and it's hooked up to my 17" alienware laptop. 4k gaming is fine (I mostly play BF1 and Blop3 at 4k low settings).

Being a TN panel, the side axis viewing is pretty average for most, if you are sitting right in front, not an issue.

I love mine.

Can't remember exactly but $250ish something inc taxes. My local costco only had the display model left so I snatched that one and got additional discount (no box).

No dead pixes, etc. Glossy black bezel and simple base but overrall, for the price, does the job. To be honest, I was looking at higher end 4k monitors at that time and thought to return it if I didn't like it ..well 4 months now and I'm still using it so that speaks for itself.

No games w/ both monitor on anyhow. I have a GTX 970 I think I got in hopes of doing VR, but didn't so occasionally the games I play are usually 1080p stuff. I got the HP Studio 32in 4K in hopes it's VA panel does a decent color reproduction for Adobe LR work on primary and I usually have a side portrait monitor for ref documents to review or web searches.

Got this monitor on Black Friday from Costco for $249.99, nice monitor, liked it and wanted to keep but it had annoying sound from power supply (appeared after 1-2 days of usage) so returned it back.
Amazon had same monitor on Black Friday for $249.99 (absolutely identical just different model number - Costco one is LU28E510DS/ZA, amazon one is LU28E590DS/ZA - everything else is the same from exterior, specification, even package the same), so got one from Amazon and still keep it and like it.
Not doing gaming, software development and other things.
The stand is not as good as dell's ones, monitor wobbling on my desk a little.

The deal of the monitor was online, it was oos when I checked it, but I went to my local Costco and grabbed one for 225. Satisfied with my monitor after all!
