Well, I'll just jump in my time machine and buy it for a dollar less... I don't understand comments like these, they benefit no one and are as useless as "it's not better than the BF price from 3 years ago". It is a good deal on the item no matter what the price was in December.

Don't be discouraged by the "my dog destroyed this" commenters. This is not a toy you leave them with to chew on. You stuff the squirrels in, let dog pull them out, and stuff them back in. That's the game. not a chew toy. Though it is relatively tough nonetheless. Our Aussie loves the thing. We have the large and it is frustratingly (for us) easy for her... She has all the squirrels out usually in a matter of 15 seconds, but will do it over and over again indefinitely until we get tired of stuffing them back in. If your dog would rather chew it then get all the squirrels out, well that would be a problem but for some reason most dogs are really determined to empty the tree.
CHEWY.COM has item on sale for $12.89 shipping free over $49 though. Frown It comes to $17.84 with $4.95 flat-rate shipping. But if you need more pet supplies and spend over $49 its a good deal.

Great toy. Bought the large size before, which is not very big. Keeps my dog occupied for a long time. This one with six squirrels will make my dog very happy. For some reason, she does not rip the squirrels apart like every other stuffed toy.

This is great. I got my golden retriever the smaller version of this a few years back from SlickDeals, and it's been one of her favorite toys. We have ferrets, so they're constantly stealing the squirrels and hiding them under the couch. Trying to keep enough squirrels around for the dog to play with has been tough. When she finds one, she carries it around the house like it's her little baby, lol.

I bought the Junior for $7 about 2 years ago, so this isn't the worst price!

Our springer/pointer mix (~50lbs) is a squeak destroyer but we supervise her with the large version and when she pulls one out she'll squeak as she brings it to us and then goes back for more.

One of my chihuahuas (under 2 years old) loves these! At the time the Junior was the perfect size for him because he was just a baby, but now the ginormous size would be perfect for him! He's about 20 pounds, and loves playing with toys by himself. He's constantly grabbing a throw toy, and throwing it himself. My 8 year old chihuahua on the other hand couldn't care less for toys.

My 3 dogs love this thing! I've went through a couple not from wearing out BUT I had to toss them. Not even a laundry washing would help. Lol

You could buy a vehicle in the 70s for a few thousand dollars, now they're like 10 times the price... I can't imagine why... *Shrug*

That said, I hear this is a good interactive toy, but I'd be worried about my dogs ripping the squirrels apart once they removed them from the holes. "Indestructible" stuffed animals last like 5 minutes. Love to get this for them, but I'll pass and get something that I know will last (rope and Nylabone toys).
