At Home Depot, they sell at retail for $12 and $6.97 is usually the sale price. The same goes for Lowes and their version. And someone correct me if I am wrong, but Costco has their own version which normally goes for ~$7.00.

I have 5 of these and for the most part they're durable. Just be sure to check for any cracks in store. A lot of the lids I saw in the store had fractures.

These are nice big totes. Be careful what you put in them though. I purchased a few last year some Costco some Lowes or home depot. This year when I opened a couple of them up the chemical smell was very strong. I'm not usually super sensitive, this was very potent though. If I had been storing clothes in them I think it would be tough to get out. I'm not sure which store the ones I opened came from but they all look the same except a design difference on the lid.

Costco version is the best out of the three. $2 coupon off a few times a year

When I checked online it said "Limited stock" and said to call and check.

Skipped that and just went to the store where they had a display right in the main door with about 40-50 of them.

Though not on sale, the 55 gallon version of this fits perfectly on Harbor Freight hitch cargo carriers (both the aluminum and steel versions)

I assume that this tote is too delicate to hold up to being a recycling bin for curbside recycling?
The bin that I was using blew away during a big wind storm several weeks ago.

Not sure if this is the case everywhere, but recycling bins should be free if you call your local center.

My one that blew away was free.
Replacements are $10 here, it's just a matter of being able to make it in during business hours.
And that this is slightly cheaper.

I bought 5 of these from Costco this year to organize our holiday stuff. I am very disappointed in their durability. they look to be heavy duty but they have easily cracked I various places. I returned a few but since they are out of stock I am now out of luck...
