do you still need to use the filter with this? I ripped a hole in my filter by not allowing it to dry before using it again after wet use.

Does Shop-Vac offer a wet pickup filter like Ridgid does? I have one for my Ridgid 14 gallon vac, and use it every time I have to vac up anything wet. When done, all I have to do is rinse it out with clear water, shake the excess moisture out of it, then let it dry before putting it away. Nice item to have, and well worth the price.

yeah they have dual purpose filters. they say to wait until filter is completely dry before using it for dry pick up. they also have a wet only filter.

Dust. If you just rely on the dry filter, which will clog easily, dust will exhaust out. Might be fine if you pick up large debris, but drywall and sawdust are not good.

Nah, me prefer the all natural feel. No protection, bare is the only way to go....

Just a note, these are the medium particle size filters, not fine. They will not work well for things such as drywall sanding dust, just meant for general dust. Fine filters are 90672.
