UPDATE: The sale was officially announced today and the dates are 4/21-4/24.

This time around you get 40% off all paint & stains, 30% off painting supplies and 25% off Wallpaper.

Here's the link: https://www.sherwin-williams.com/...nd-coupons

Dig into the thread for coupons to get even more off. When I have time I'll copy them over here to make it easy on everyone.

Edit:
Here are links to the coupons:

I was told by my SW color consultant that this sale will start April 21. The Super Sale usually runs four days so it is most likely 4/21-4/24.

The Super Sale is usually 40% off all paints and stains, 30% off all painting supplies and 15-30% off wallpaper (wallpaper discount varies from sale to sale).

SW currently has a good 30% off sale but if you need paint and can wait, hold out for a couple more weeks.

I don't have a link to prove it so you'll just have to trust me.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

One thing to point out is that if you have multiple colors in your home and you want to buy some spare paint, you don't have to buy all the colors. You can buy the base during the sale and have SW mix the color for you any time after at no cost.

What I don't know is if they will mix less than a full gallon at a time. For instance, if you have a gallon of base will they allow you to just mix a quart or will they require you to mix the whole gallon can?
I only buy paint there when it's 40% off and can stack a $10 off $50 coupon - https://www.sherwin-williams.com/...al-offers/

I stock up on white SuperPaint and get it tinted later. They usually do it for free.

$54.49 * .40 = $32.69 * 2 = $65.38 - $10 = $55.38 / 2 = $27.69 a gallon
JUST LOL @ Glidden, etc being as good.

SW Emerald is so much better than Behr, etc its not funny.

When picking out your colors MAKE SURE THE BASE IS WHITE AND NOT TRANSLUCENT. Anything with a translucent base will not cover at all; that's not unique to SW.

For instance if you choose a RED you cannot use a white base because if you use red tint on a white base you will end up with PINK.

However, if your paint is translucent it simply won't coat. That's why you hear so many complaints about any red paint. There are plenty of other colors that are similar.

I have been so disappointed with the last few SW products we've used. Even with the sale I don't think it's worth it over the big box stores except maybe on a few select products. No idea which ones those would be though. The paint specialized for metal doors and their concrete strain were both garbage.

Good point but have an idea of where in the spectrum your intended color is. There are a couple different base colors they sell. I'm sure if it's unmixed they probably wont have a huge issue exchanging it if it's unblended (and not like years later).

@fat_deals - talk to someone in a SW store. all the people I've dealt with locally are really good and generally have given very good advice both on color and well as paint types.

depends upon the surface you're painting. BM makes better paint than Aura, but again it just depends upon what you're painting.

TU, SW's top shelf paints are far superior to the crap from homecenters.

Agree just last week I bought Sherwin super paint for a bathroom and hallway. Used 2 coupons and still paid a lot. Hated the covering ability and thinness of it. Bought Behr on sale the next day for $25 a gallon on sale and it was worlds better. Never again with SW... Either banjamin .Moore or Behr for me.

Does SW have a restoration type deck product? If so, can anyone testify to it's quality?

This sale is a 4-6 times/year scam. 40% of of SW shitty paint puts it at a boy $12-$15 more per gallon than top of the line Valspar or Behr. I have painted more interior rooms and exterior homes than I want to recall. SW is not worth the money.

Interior: Valspar, Glidden, Olympic, Behr all do a fine job

Exterior: Valspar, Behr, Olympic

This sale is bs.vomit
