Invicta quality is hit or miss. My last 2 decently expensive watches over 50 and under 150 from them have not lasted.. My father as well has not faired well with his either. Although I'm rough on my watches, I have other brands like citizen and Pulsar that are ticking after much more abuse.

I don't see how invicta sales are sales when they are sold for this price range all the time. All their watches always come out with outrageous price tags, then they are sold for what they are actually worth, which is around these prices.

Keep in mind that Invicta are always sold for 80-90% off. They have insane "suggested retail" prices that no one ever pays, just so that their regular prices look like a steal.

Frankly, no one should ever pay more than $100 for an Invicta. That's all they're worth.

I personally have had great luck with Invicta but I do not purchase the lower end watches at this price they are worth a chance to get into the line of Invicta. I have had at last count 7 Invictas and yes all of them are still working perfectly. I prefer the BOLT line and the Subqua series. If you are looking for a long term quality watch at a reasonable price consider the Bolt but they are big faced time pieces.

Obviously you are not familiar with the actual movements inside the watches, which actually determines the value and quality of a watch brand. Low end watches have low end movements. The medium priced Invicta lines that go away from the (less expensive) movement as a solid choice for a long term timepiece vs simple work watch

lol - how to sucker someone by taking a cheap as shit watch, pulling a price out of your ass for it, then offering 90% off. As someone else said, these watches are a ripoff even at 100% off. The crap of the crap!

Seiko is the best movement on a budget.

Well as usual someone has to chime in about with a worthless point. My point was that the movement inside the watch plays a big part in the value. You speak volumes when you mention the timex line.. it explains my point exactly.. There are $24 dollar timex pieces.. and there are those which are 5 times that price. You can brand hate all you want its your choice. As do I agree with the MSRP pricing game many companies play, of course not. What determines value is what YOU actually pay compared to others of the same type and movement .

Indeed Seiko has a very solid time piece . I also prefer Citizen eco drive as a good everyday watch.
