Amazing. Get it.
In what way is it "old?" The game was released in October 2016.

Would really appreciate some recommendations on campaign-like co-op.

Games my buddy and I have really liked are Borderlands 2, Far Cry 4, and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist. We obviously have a preference for FPS and/or stealth.

I haven't been able to convince him to play anything that would require playing with others online. For example, he liked the co-op missions in the CS: Global Offensive operations, but wouldn't do any other game modes.

I would check out Resident evil revelations. Nvm it looks like it doesn't have coop campaign mode.. Maybe I'm thinking about the sequels..

Resident Evil 5 was built around co-op, as there are two main protagonists throughout the story. It's not the best when played solo, but I've heard it shines when played co-op.

If GMG is doing an Easter sale, a steam sale will be hitting soon.

RE5 was surprisingly one of the best co-op experiences I've ever had.

KF2 is great online co-op. High gameplay value for the price.

However, I am a little disappointed with how shallow the gameplay is... Only 2 bosses in the game so the end result of every one of the (8ish?) maps is just BLEH.
I also find Hard mode is too easy (you can basically camp spawn points) but Suicidal is a huge leap where bosses can now 1-shot you.

Still, a great accessible title to kill the 1-2 hours of free time most fulltimers will have.

Most likely but with the way Steam sales have been the past 2 years or so the prices likely won't be better than this
