Thank you. I will probably start price protection on the 590s that I got last week.

I have Citi Double Cashback. I often get e-mail from them about "price rewind". I am going to see how that works out for this purchase.

I did the same with Citi for Xbox controllers and their "Deal Machine" never found the Amazon deal... keep a screenshot and call the customer line for the price rewinding

They retail for about double of what this price is. Remember, this is each speaker, so you'll need to purchase 2

I had the 590 when it was $490. The msrp is around $1800 each. These are mind blowing speakers! Grab them while you can as Harman now belong to Samsung. You need decent amp as well. Downside is that if you have crappy music source, you'll know it. These are 2.5 way vs 3 ways, the older JBL 3 ways are still better but these studio 5 bad boys are good! & they want to be loud. They perform much better when they are played very loud. Shakka boom!

Watcha think of these compared to the Reference RF Series you see here frequent? I have RTi 10 as main and TSi300 for Rear and CSi A4 for center. Gonna give it to my pops soon and about to invest in another set Smilie

I can't comment on how much/what you can afford, but I don't see too many sellers around including the small AV local stores in my area, less than 10 reviews online, so it is a pass for me...

Is it just me or are the ES80s more appealing? I can't find any mid/high-end with 5-way like the ES80s in that price range. Can anyone explain or post review comparing the ES80s and 580/590s?
