I have this item and I have the tool box version. This one isn't really made for tools, but it could be used for it if you take out the removable trays. The tool box is taller and the bottom section is empty allowing you to store a good amount of tools and whatnot in it. This one is shallower and is used to store small odds and ends like screws, nuts, etc. Either way, they're very well made and the cantilever system is phenomenal. Here's the toolbox. It's twice as tall/deep. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-.../207138794

Online price doesn't match the in store price. They have two different pricing systems and you have to go in store to see the in store price.

This would be perfect for my Kreg screws and regular screws and nuts & bolts, too bad they are $29 in my area.

I've used this for almost 6 months and it works very well with my electrical engineering tools. Resistors, caps, transistors, diodes and protoboard on the top. Multimeter, bnc cables, wire strippers and soldering tools on the bottom.

This was just what I was looking for. I love that I can configure the different sections and the low, wide design.

$29.97 in Boston Area with a "New" tag next to the price tag. Reading the Q&A from Home Depot, it seems like there is a newer version (which is most likely what I saw). Perhaps the OP found an older version that was on clearance?

$7.52 at the Westminster store off of Goldenwest. There were 8 when I saw it, came back and someone took 2, I took one, so there are 5 left as of 12 noon 5/2/17. These boxes were pretty dusty so they've been sitting in the back for a while.

It's down to $3.97 @ the Camarillo HD. Grabbed four, easily 10+ remain. Probably should've snagged 8. May go back later today.

Do these connect to each other? or just to the other boxes in the connect line

Also, My local HD has them for full price. Is there any way to get it price matched? I can't find any sites actually selling this cheap.

The "connect" series seems to fit atop one another. Nothing to lock in place, but secure enough for my taste...similar to how milk crates or file folder crates fit onto each other.

I wished they had these for the OP's price around my area. Needed one to organize all the bits and pieces, nails, screws, etc. Regular price, maybe the ones we have at the store closest to me really are newer models.

These clearance ones (older version) do not connect and stack on other size boxes... however the newer ones that cost $30 ea do connect.
