Have been watching this "easy up style" canopy for awhile as it is one of the best rated and right now its on sale! Usually varies from $150 to $128 and $93.81 is the lowest it has been ever. (according to price camel 2010)

(upset I bought mine on cyber Monday for $98)

Don't leave it out in a storm or not staked out properly at the beach and it should last a long time! (Negative reviews are from this)

Thanks- Clay, please leave rep if you like deal

Going to be a trade off, If you get a lightweight department store one (cheap Aluminum cross beams) that's 30lbs the first breath of wind will snap your braces. But on the bright side you might be able to make a nice kite out of your $79 cheap canopy.

If you live in Texas you are blessed with having beaches that aren't privatized, so you can drive to where you want to place your canopy and get it out of the car right there!

To summarize you need to move to Texas instead of buying a cheap canopy Wink Or be strong enough to drag 50lbs through the sand. lol Happy Tuesday all! Friday can't get here soon enough

50 pounds so be aware before trying to lug this to the beach through the sand.

Put it out at a crawfish boil this past weekend for 2 days in about 15-25 MPH wind with it properly staked. I was very pleased with it's performance, didn't see any flex or signs of weakness.

I've seen too many videos of people's car sinking in wet beach sand to ever be comfortable driving my car out there.

Plus for hopefully another 20+ years I will be strong enough to carry it on my own. Or lazy enough to buy a wagon for other stuff and just find a way to rig it to the wagon

This is the best canopy! 70% more coverage than a 10x10 canopy. l have used two for kids soccer games for maybe 5 years. Goes up quick. Mine survived 30 mph winds staked down well and tilted into the wind. Buy 4 of those big spiral dog stakes to anchor it. If you break a canopy, keep it to use for parts. If you can use an allen wrench, these are easy to repair.

Great canopy. Great price.

Those are stupid people that have never understood how tides work. Wink They park close to the water at low tide, then walk far away, go to the bar/restaurant/whatever for a few hours. The tide comes in and swallows their ride. You must either park above the high tide line or stay close enough to your car to keep an eye on it. Cool

I've had my eye on this at Costco for the past 4-5 weeks, was waiting on my next paycheck to buy at $119+ tax, at this price I just had to jump on it.

Has anyone ever tried buying 3 of them and make a semi triangle walled fort at the beach?

it's awesome. bought mine awhile back and use it for shade out in the az desert. it is well built and being able to walk under it without ducking (6'1") is the biggest plus.
