The kit at Lowes is "Made in USA with global materials" as explicitly written out on the item description. The pictures at Lowes also shows the Made in USA stickers on the tools.

The version at Home Depot does not bear the marking, and the website does not show any indication for country of origin.

I think normal price is actually $299, decent deal if you have a $50 off $250 coupon.

it's OK but these are the older cheaper versions of Dewalt's 20v tools. OK but not a smoking deal in my opinion.

I feel like I get left out of these tool packages (esp the Christmas deals) because I have a DeWalt drill and impact wrench... I just want the light, saw and maybe the impact drill. Seems hard to flip these when they all come in one box.

Same - I have the 18v drill/driver kit and they work just fine; I don't see the need to duplicate them, which means I'm not interested in most of the packages.

I liked the 'choose your own' package deal last week for that reason.

I don't think I'll use these enough to merit spending this much money on them.

Add $1.00 Filler and use a $50 off $250 to get it too $200.

I'm still waiting on a Rigid Deal to be back in stock. Rigid has lifetime warranty on their tools and Dewalt is only 3 years.

Seems like a good deal. I don't know how big of deal the 2 vs 4 rated batteries will be.

If you add a $1.00, buy a $50 off $250 coupon and get the price to $200 then it would be even better.

I'm personally still leaning towards a Rigid Set with two drills and circular saw for $280 (if it ever comes back in stock) and then applying a $50 off coupon for $230 total. Lifetime warranty on Rigid tools is too tempting for me versus only a 3 year warranty on this line.

Lifetime on Ridgid for as long as HD keeps that line alive (look at Craftsman right now). Dewalt is available in both HD and Lowes, big reason that I went with Dewalt over Ridgid or Milwaukee.

meh, the brushless kit without hte light was going for $220 shipped on ebay. buy the recip saw for $95 shipped ebay. the light is imo useless and a good headlamp should be used. $315 for brushless vs $250+ tax no brainer upgrade for most users. heavy users absolutely worth it.

I saw that flashlight as a filler item but man I use mine a lot. Best part is it runs FOREVER on Lithium batteries and is incredibly bright. We've lost power a couple of times since I got mine and I can set it in a room pointed at the ceiling for hours and it lights up the entire room. Great light, wish I had a second one!
