I got this same set for this price a few months ago at my local HD. Great set, doesn't have the hammer drill (I don't need one anyways) and the normal driver is lighter. It has a 4 ah and 2 ah battery (lifetime warranty after registration). I actually like the 2 ah with the normal driver for around the house stuff, since it weighs about half as much as the 4 ah

I used the saw the other day to cut some 2x4's, works really well. And it's nice that it is a 7.25" full size blade. I was debating between this, Milwaukee, and Dewalt. They all seem about comparable pricing. What sold me is the lifetime warranty, which includes the batteries.

Link btw for info: http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID.../207035630

Obviously their in store option isn't working

I've been waiting on the kit with the hammer drill to drop in price. It's out of stock and listed at $399. $300 would be perfect. Otherwise I'll go with a hammer drill/impact combo from one of the big 3 and a cheap corded circular saw.

Yeah I get ya. For me the $150 difference (compared to the $399) was worth it to drop the hammer drill (I have a corded hammer drill). Not sure how long/useful a cordless hammer drill would be, but I'm surprised at how powerful these newer cordless things are so it might be good. Last ones I used were old 12v makitas that were pretty bad.

Honestly for me, since I'm not cutting tons of wood, the convenience of the cordless circular saw is pretty awesome. It's almost a game changer in convenience

I'm glad to hear it's a good set. I really hope they drop in price soon. Today, I saw that my local HD store just put out the M18 Milwaukee Fuel brushless hammer drill/impact combo with a 4 and 2 AH battery for $299. Even with the LSA on the Ridgid, I'd go for the Milwaukee at that price.

I had so so luck on cordless saws. Ended up getting a basic corded full size saw from Lowes for 20 bucks on black Friday one year and it works perfectly for whenever I need to cut. The KEY was immediately replacing the blade it came with with a Diablo blade. Yes the blade cost another 9 bucks but it cuts thru wood like butter

I know. I said in the previous post that I'd go with the Ridgid hammer drill / impact drill / saw if the price goes down or pick a brushless hammer drill / impact drill combo from one of the big 3 and buy a cheap corded circular saw. The latter option would be cheaper than the $399 retail of the Rigid set. The $249 set posted by the OP is a good deal, but I need a hammer drill.

I bought th hammer still for $129 before I saw this.

I'll probably sell off all the 2Ah batteries to offset the costs.

Same model number same price, original post from 02-25-2017 so doubt any of these are still out there - I went looking and didn't find any.

If you saw one post an image of the store tag or sales receipt please.

I saw them at my local store last weekend, so they're still around.

It's good that it was reposted because some would've missed it seeing as how the other is marked as expired

The brushless hammer drill, impact, circular saw, and two 4ah batteries were $279 for a couple months last year, maybe October through December? They ran a promo on Ridgid and some other brands where you buy the drill/impact and get a tool free. I returned the saw to make the drill/impact ~$180, but keeping all three would hit your price point. At that time others made it sound like it was a recurring promotion each holiday season, so if you can wait that may hit your sweet spot. Icing on the cake for me was I timed it with a Menards 11% sale, so I had the drill/impact for ~$180 plus an 11% Home Depot gift card. I'm pretty sure when the gift card came it was based off the original $279 so that was an extra $9 as well.
