What does everyone use the larger sizes for? I find electronics are usually below T8, Knives and guns tend to be T6, T8, T10.

I havent yet needed the larger sizes, but for this price, why not? Some tools are like that, good to have around just in case. Better to have and not need then to need and not have with tools IMO.

More and more vehicles use torx fasteners. I've used up to T55 for frame bolts (though in socket form, not driver form).

I'll be more than happy with this set, but I do wonder how much better the Snap-on ones are at ~$20 per driver.

these are pretty high end, no way snapon is that much better.
