I did try numerous different coupon codes to see if any would slide under the radar for this sale item, but I couldn't find any that worked. Still a decent price compared to the average ~$60+ at most other stores (and even $40+ on eBay).

Update: Use coupon code LV6DBX to save an extra $5. Don't forget to rep Runamok81 for providing the code.

Update 2: Deal is still active, but promo code no longer works. So back to $24.99 sale price.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

If only Gearwrench did not make you play a game 'chase 3 missing sizes for $20 each', making this complete set look like a better deal ...

You are going to have that potential issue any time that you consider a wrench set from any manufacturer that includes less than the maximum number of sizes made. It could be argued that the set you linked is missing the 8mm, 9mm, 20mm, 21mm, 22mm, etc.

The 7-piece set has 10mm through 14mm, 17mm and 19mm, which adequately cover the size of bolts found on a vast number of vehicles made over the last couple decades. Most fasteners on Hondas, Nissans, and Toyotas for example are 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 17mm and 19mm. The description at Advance is apparently wrong, according to Juno in post #15 and confirmed by MrBlob in post #19, they are actually: "Contents: 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 18mm".

16mm and 18mm were rare in the past, but are becoming more common, so if your car has them and you think you'll be able to use stubbies that big, then you should look for a different wrench set that includes the sizes you need. I can't recall ever using a 15mm on a vehicle except for maybe on an old VW, but your mileage may vary.

True. This was more of a note to myself - I have an older Saturn and a newer Honda. They seem to use alternating sizes (Saturn would use 16 and 18 where Honda would use 17 and 19 and so on), covering pretty much the full spectrum except for may be 11mm Smilie Saturn also uses 5, 5.5, 7, 8 and probably everything else in between - just discovered a few days ago I'm missing a 7mm ratcheting GearWrench (I do have 6 and 8), which would have been perfect for the fender splash guard retaining bolts.

Coupon force is strong with you! Do you have a coupon that would work on the Rhino Ramps?

15mm are everywhere on modern GM vehicles. Not sure about other brands. Are these ratcheting? It looks like it in the picture. That would be good to add to the OP if they are.

Ah, thank you. The only GM I've worked on in the last decade was a rebadged Toyota.

Since we all have different needs, no 7-piece set is going to be a perfect match for each and every one of us, but this set will be a good match for many.

The description on AAP A is incorrect! Here is from Amazon. "Contents: 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 18mm".
