This just out yesterday, I know this is going to be important news for many hoping to get their hands on a Nintendo classic NES.

Nintendo will discontinue the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition and the last shipments will go out to retailers throughout this month.

So don't miss out on you chance to get it first hand from any retailer that you can get it from

This is it ! of course then there will be Ebay and craigslist and of course you can expect the resale prices to rise

I didn't know yet, so thanks.

This just means it will be even harder to get one now...

I was able to get one a while back, may have to sell it now. I think Nintendo will backpedal as people like me who might've bought the Switch when they're done recycling Wii U games will probably boycott due to their bs tactics

Will this up the value of any unopened NES Classics in a few years?

Some people don't have time (or desire) to build their own machines. The NES classic is an easy, mainstream device that is easy to plug and play. Some people also like the idea of getting legal, official stuff from Nintendo.

Different strokes for different folks I guess

I think we all knew Nintendo was going to do this. The NES classic was selling so poorly that they just had to make this excellent business decision to maintain any further losses. I'm sure their shareholders are breathing a sigh of relief.
