They are very easy to take apart also. Just take a small screw driver around the sides and it slides off (there are youtube videos that show you exactly). That way you can put it back in the enclosure if you ever needed to RMA one.

Yeah, I have a second NAS with 5 5TB drives in them from another unit that I did the same thing on. Actually have an extra one in case one fails.

I will end up buying 5 of these as well. Although I will have someone else buy the remaining two for me since limit of 3

Hopefully you were able to get them before they went back up to $109.99 :-/. Not sure why these are on sale then off sale every other day. Either way, even @ $109.99 for a WD Red it's a good deal.

Might want to jump on it if you're looking for a WD Red. Either way it's a good deal on a WD drive.

Went to the local Best Buy today and picked up 2. They rang up at 109.99 but they price matched with no questions asked

Ordered three of these, only received one so far. WD Red inside WD40EFRX. Surface scan came out good. You can open the enclosure without breaking tabs and with no sign of damage with a credit card. I broke one tab because I pried too much on one end, but I won't make that mistake again. Drive has same s/n that is on the box. Warranty shows:

Status: In Limited Warranty
Model Number: WDBCKA0040HBK
Description: WD easystore Desktop
Expiration Date: 04/28/2019

I just purchased a WD Easystore 4tb. I pulled the drive and it was a WD white label (no color) model WD40EMRX. Is this a variation of a red drive? Any help would be appreciated.
