This is a fantastic budget power supply manufactured by SuperFlower. I've used 3 of them so far and all have been great units.

It's a reposted deal that has been this price for a while (also has been slightly cheaper in the past).

if it was $19.99 (like it was on 4/7) I'd buy one as a backup. since I don't really need it I'm passing. GOOD deal if you need one though!!

Bought this last time it went FP to replace the Antec 80+ PSU that went bad in my PC after 9 years. Very happy with it so far!

It's pretty good, and is potentially a Corsair CX killer.
Built on SuperFlower's bronze platform, and comes with 6 + 8 pin PCI-E (unusual in this budget category).
Rated at 30C, but that's alright for the price.

What does 30*C mean
Power supply manufacturers specify a maximum peak or sustained power output wattage (obviously sustained is greatly preferred).
This wattage is speced at a given operating temperature. Good ones are rated at ~50C, average ones lower than that, blue-light specials at < 25C (room temp).

A power supply's wattage degrades with increasing temperature. So in the case of the eVGA 450 BT, you'll probably loose 50-100W of capability at realistic operating temperatures (40-50C since it is typically exhausting hot air from the CPU and video card).

HTH!

I ordered this PSU last time it was FP and put it in a build I had been piecing together. It has been reliable thus far and also has all black cables. I'm using it as a placeholder until a fully modular PSU that's worth custom sleeving goes on sale. I'm happy with this one so far!
