699 has been the going rate for a while now. It went as low as 57X not too long ago...

I'm not an audiophile, yet I've been looking all day and didn't see this until after I placed an order for a $430 Denon with a much weaker per channel output.

Cancelled it and went with this because it is a good deal for a mid-end end receiver (I'd argue high end at $1300, but there are some crazy expensive receivers out there).

To each their own in what constitutes a hot deal, yet I figured I'd pass this along because it was for me.

How does this receiver compares to Denon AVR-X4300H deal from frys for 799? I've been waiting for the denon deal to come back. Anyone has experience with these two receivers? I'm tempted to buy this. Thanks.

If you live close to a Frys, the 4300H goes on sale maybe once every month. I see it quite often.

The RZ1100 is more closely aligned with the 4300H than a RZ810 as far as features go.

Waiting for a good sale on a HDR10 / Dolby Vision complaint receiver.

For example, Yamaha RX-V683:

got the denon on the $799 deal....the 4300 is a 9 channel avr , the rz is 7 channels , I am running 4 overheads , so if that is important to you then you need the denon .

So audiofiles, would you choose this receiver or a denon 3300? Will be using with a 5.2.1 system

beefier powersupply go Onkyo, if you want better room correction, 3300 is the cheapest option with MultiXT32

The speakers will be all in wall speakers ( 2 polk 265 Rt, 1 Polk 255 C-Ls, 2 polk 65 rt, 2 Polk mc 80) . After knowing that what would people suggest. Sorry for my lack of knowledge!

personally, I don't think it would matter much both options are awesome for your setup. I might lean closer to the Denon just because of the better room correction with Audysey.
