Free Battery Rebate deal expires 4/17 ($129 value). Just the blower, 179-18 (10% off movers) = $160 plus tax. With free additional battery. Local pickup.

Rebate is also valid on string trimmer as well. Contemplated getting both the blower and trimmer [lowes.com]for Total 358-50 (50 off 250 coupon) for $328. Submit the rebate for both and end up getting 2 chargers / 4 batteries blower and trimmer [lowes.com]for $164 a piece. Couldn't pull the trigger on the trimmer though. Wanted the blower so my wife can use it as well, without having to pull start something.

EDIT: I ended up switching my order to be
99.00 - Blower (Bare Tool)
+ 169.00 - String Trimmer
268.00 - SubTotal
- 50.00 - (50 off 250)
218.00 - Total for Blower/Trimmer, 1 charger, 2 batteries

Each tool for $109. Not incredibly slick, but good for me!

I know nothing about this situation, but going from 80v to 60v isn't necessarily a downgrade. historically battery packs were made of 18650 or 123a batteries, and so going up in voltage also meant going up in cell count which meant more stored energy, and more available power (also why a "9cell" laptop battery was 50% better than a "6cell" one) . anyway, many places don't use these cells anymore, and so 60V and 80V could have whatever energy storage they wanted.

The 60V line of tools is a Lowe's exclusive to go head to head with Home Depot's EGO 56V tools.

The rebate form says "between 4/12/2017 and 4/17/2017". Technically, did it end yesterday? Lowes website also says buy BEFORE 4/17/2017.
