Just a word of warning. I ordered one of these units last year to keep in a small sedan for any dead batter issues. I kept it fully charged and needed it one night at the airport after a trip. I had left a light on in the car. When I connected it to my car battery, the unit began smoking and melting. It had a major malfunction. I tried to contact Aukey and had zero response. My issue could be a one-off quality issue, but I wanted to at least alert the community.

I think I'll buy this but will charge it at work so it explodes there. Now to find a fireproof safe to store it in!

Finally cheap enough on a known brand to pull the trigger. Thanks OP. Anyone tried to use coupon multiple times?

I do like the 12V cig lighter port even if I may never use it. Would be an easy but clunky way to add QC support if needed as well.
it's not that bad. qc when the power goes out.

Does anyone know if this will output while it's being charged? Need a unit to use as a power supply for a dash camera while the car is off. Must still output 12v while the car is running and charging up the battery though.

That looks like it's asking to have a battery fire in your car... how can it be that cheap???
