This is one of the cheapest price I can find for a Quad Core i5 based Mini PC and a perfect solution for HTPC as well as for some heavy works because of the quad core Processor.

You cannot install any kind of Video card on it, it is too small. And no HDMI port does not mean you have to add a graphics card to have one. Buy a Display Port -> HDMI Dongle which costs less than $10.
Also regarding your comment about the HDD and Ram, well you are getting about what are you paying for. at $330 price if you expect 16GB ram, 256GB SSd and 1TB HDD, along with a Skylake Quad Core Processor, you may have to wait couple of years now.

And regarding your Power supply complain, that is insanely lame. These are Tiny PC for Business purpose with very low power consumption, not a Desktop with 400W PSU, full fledged Core i7 60W Processor. The Processors here are T series processor which has a TDP of 35W and consumes very low power. That 65W Power adapter can power the CPU, SSD + HDD+ 32GB Ram with ease.

No it will not cause that.
I have one of these except with an SSD, also purchased Refurbished from Woot. Had a bunch of problems with blue screens.

Because it is a business oriented series you get a direct line to tech support familiar with this specific machine. I'm talking a special phone number that someone actually picks up. They do the basics over the phone with a screen share l. If not fixed it is bumped up to the next level tech who calls you back after you send in diagnostics by email. Do some more troubleshooting with that agent, and they follow up to make sure the problem is fixed.

They were not able to figure out what was wrong with my machine so they sent an actual human being to my house. He was a regional HP technician, not contracted by a third party, and he was working on my pic within 24 hours of me calling back to tell them the issue was persistent.

He came in and replaced the system board, did a sort of mini-refurb, etc and put it back together, no charge. He didn't really access my system or data, just installed the system board and made sure it worked before he left.

I'm still having problems with it freezing but now without a blue screen. Haven't called them back again, to be continued.

So you're out of luck with Woot in terms of defective PC/components (read their warranty/return information carefully) but you're still supported by HP even though it comes from Woot and is a Refurbished item.

This should work well as a hackintosh

Maybe even without any tweaking.

Only problem with using it as an HTPC is that it's lacking an HDMI port. Can use an adapter, but that might cause HDCP issues?

Not bad but does come with some annoying stuff. The hard drive is to small. 500gb is nothing now. No HDMI. Might be possible to install a low powered video card not sure if this comes a slot for that option and the power supply is super low. Also only comes with 4gb. Not a lot of ram. I do like the CPU.

If you need to save space this is a great deal. Other wise I would buy a regular desktop with a i5 inside.

I wouldn't be worried about HDCP problems. I FREQUENTLY end up needing to use DisplayPort to HDMI adapters to connect PCs with only DP output to TVs/monitors with only HDMI input. In fact, I'm quite often pushing the 50-foot limit for safely expecting a non-amplified/non-RedMere HDMI cable to work. Only very, very rarely do I encounter any kind of signal issues or artifacting. HDCP issues are even more uncommon.

Can you recommend any of the DisplayPort to HDMI Adapters?.

It's also just a 6000 series so it won't be able to do 4k. 7000 series supports it much better especially with h.265 support.

Did you even click or the link or look at the picture? How can you possible fit any video card on a mini that's 1.3 inches tall.

Seems a bit limited with the small size. If that's all you need, fine, but think most people would be better off with a more conventional sized computer and upgradable graphics.
