I have the G.SKILL RIPJAWS KM570 MX keyboard which is essentially the same but with red LEDs. Had it for about 3 months now with no problems and I'm very happy with it so far.

I like that it doesn't require additional software to program, but that may be limiting if you have complex macros or play many different types of games. It's easy enough to type on but keep in mind that these are the cherry brown switches that have a slightly longer stroke then the cherry reds preferred by most gamers.

For anyone wondering, I attempted applying the G. SKILL / RGB MX Brown discount code listed above to the RGB MX Blue equivalent and the discount was not applicable--it is a product-specific code. Reasonable price for the RGB MX Brown though. TU.

Definitely for RGB! I'd be all over this if I didn't drop $150 on the Strafe 2 weeks ago Frown

I guess i don't understand the refurb astigmatism. if refurb by corsair it still has to leave factory in fully functioning condition and most items still will carry their warranty.

Yes, I own the RGB version and it honestly looks really well. You can download G.Skill's software to customize patterns, colors, or light up specific keys. The sturdiness is pretty good, doesn't flex a lot, has a braided cable, genuine cherry switches. It's a pretty great keyboard for the price, in my opinion. I guess the only downsides would be no wrist rest and no USB out within the back of the keyboard.

Cherry MX keyboards are usually above $60. Cherry MX browns are the most expensive because they're meant for both gaming and typing enthusiasts, i.e. high demand. Cherry MX reds are less in demand and I've seen plenty of them hover at $60 (new, not refurb).
