I don't think I want to watch it vomit
Lifestraw is great, but I prefer Sawyer Mini because it's compact and you can screw it on a bottle for easy drinking (you can collect dirty water and store it in a bottle so you can access it at anytime instead of finding a water source to drink off of). It's only $20 on amazon and it's worth the 8 more dollars.

If I use this on cat piss, the other end will be 100% drinkable?

Edit: Turns out its 100% drinkable! https://youtu.be/qIoG4iDoF2M

You will still probably get the taste and color of the soda. Why? None of these filters, this one or even the much better Sawyer mini will filter out chemicals added in water. Which is why it is so important what's in your source. Hence why the kid in that youtube video still tasted his pee. These things are mostly used as last resort to block out bacteria and most viri elements in water. Chemicals 100% never (I'm not an expert on this but have researched this topic my fair share).

Define "drinkable"...

Will be difficult as carbonation will reduce effective filtration area.
