Some people did not get unlock codes after purchase, while the past gophone you would get the unlock code without 6 month prepaid.

In previous threads, even though there were always people coming in and announced that AT&T GoPhones stopped giving out unlock codes except going through 6 months of service, almost 100% of these people did not follow the correct unlock procedure. They turned on the phones with the AT&T sim card inside before the phones were fully unlocked using the AT&T unlock request form. Other people made sure to never turn on the phones, and then request unlock, and it works for them.

Is it any different this time? Or are you guys falsely reporting as the guys in the previous threads? How do you know unlocking does not work anymore?

You made sure to not turn on the phone for the first time before requesting unlocking, correct? If so, this is a big news... Can you please confirm?

Like I said I've unlocked TONS of AT&T phones I know the MO... It was the first thing I did was request unlock under NON at&t customer, tried 4 different e-mails and phones # , even contact CS rep to help me submit a request . But I have cricket so my wife can still use the phone , I much rather have it unlock so I can sell it if something better comes up.
