Xiaomi Mi Max 6.44 inch 4GB RAM 128GB ROM Snapdragon 652 Octa Core Smartphone ($246) ($220 for 32GB version)

Review:

Display (9/10) - Sharp, bright, big, and rich colors.
Camera (8.5/10) - Excellent but slightly worse than iPhone or Galaxy S.
Cpu (9/10) - This is still a strong cpu even with upcoming new phones this year.
GPU (8.8/10) - Plays the latest, intensive 3d games smoothly without a glitch or lag.
Battery (9/10) - bigger battery to accommodate the bigger screen. Should last a full day.
Build quality (9/10) - aluminum construction that has a premium feel
Fingerprint sensor (9/10) - quick, fast, and accurate
OS (8.7/10) - It's android but with MIUI skin, which takes a lot of influence from the iOS.

Why it's a great deal?
+ I won't tell you if this is the best deal or not, but this phone packs a lot for its price!
+ Amazing value! I'm a deal seeker, not a deal breaker.
+ Free shipping, and not customs tax for US customers (I live in Indonesia, and every damn thing here is taxed)

According to specs on its page, only 1/3/7/38/39/40/41 for 4G.
I will pass.

I like these monster phones for tablets but this one doesn't sound that great:

Not too sure. You need to send a message to them.

no go for att either... even though the speed of H/H+ is fine. you'll miss some phone calls occasionally, which is quite annoying. (symptom: when somebody calls you, it sometimes -especially when the screen is off- just returns " sorry, the phone number you called can not be reached..." usually it takes quite long to ring up.
my guess is mi phones could not pick up att signal easily.

This phone is useless for U.S. carriers without proper LTE network bands. The LeEco Max 2 at least fully supports T-Mobile and AT&T networks.

Without full US network support, why is this even listed here? More Chinese spam?

Banggood, do us a favor and put up another Le Max 2 offer for $175 or less. $165 would be even better. I have the X829 4Gig/64Gig version from you (paid $185), and its one fast capable phone with a ton of XDA support. Love the 820 processor and large 2k screen for gaming and vids.

leeco would have been a solid choice if they allowed unlocking bootloader. Absent that it's useless for power user

it's GSM only anyways isn't it, that's an even bigger deal than a lack of LTE IMO

The Indian Max 2 variant being sold by Bang Good (X820) should be bootloader unlockable, so it the U.S. model based on an exploit. The regular U.S. S3 (non-pro) variant has an official unlock method.

i keep eyeballing xiaomi devices. I got mi air 12" laptop and it's awesome. i would gladly go on with phones if only they supported US bands. Without support of all US radio bands i would end up with a big nice phone which i can not use to call Frown
