I have a lot of cards now from all of these offers. How long do most of you keep them open before canceling? I'm concerned I have too many open and will start to get turned down. Stick Out Tongue

The Citi double cash has no sign up offer. You would have to spend 10k on it to get $200 back. This wf card is an easy $200 for most people.

I wouldn't bother wasting a hard inquiry on the Citi double cash.
The point is if you're going to use ANY card as your daily card, the Citi Doublecash would be a good one to choose. Yes, this one offers a $200 bonus and it's only good for that. Once you've met the requirements and got your money, there's no reason to continue using this as your daily card. That was my point.

I don't cancel any of my credit cards. There's no point in doing so. If anything, having more open lines of credit lowers your utilization ratio, which helps your credit score.

Yeah but you already took a hard injury hit for applying in the first place so you might as well go all through with it. You took a hard inquiry for nothing.
Clearly he never completed the application process, therefore no hard inquiry...

I'm not aware of any Chase card that gives 2% cashback.
Chase unlimited has 1.5% cashback in ultimate point, but if you also have reserve and spend on travel you got 50% more from the points, that makes 1.5%*1.5=2.25% (if you redeem the point on travel, I compared with their air ticket price and it's identical to expedia, YMMV of course)
If not then Citi double cash and Fidelity visa are the only ones give you 2% on everything.

I have this card. The 1.5% back is decent, probably the standard now. obviously if you have other cards and can spend according to bonus offers, etc. those will be better. The one thing that has surprised me is the fact that there is phone protection. Saved me a good chunk of money when I broke my phone screen and had water damage. The claim is similar to other claims with all the hoops, but I got reimbursed.

I did the WF checking account deal with debt card a few months ago. Can I still get this deal because it's credit card? it says you have to wait 16 months if I had cc which I don't think. cuz it was just checking and debt card. it was the free $250 deal before.

You can get a 50k mileage card any day of the week. That's worth a good $750.

It's a decent card, too bad they don't do bonus redemption for PMA accounts like Bank of America.
