I've had this printer for about 2 years after going through a number of inkjets.

Pros:
Small, cheap, relatively quiet. Generic toner works great. Can sit for months between prints and fire right up. Manual duplex works great even if it requires manual flipping.

Cons:
No cloud print
No Linux support (it's a rebadged Xerox phaser 6000b so workarounds exist but I have not been successful in getting this configured under Manjaro.)
Paper tray sticks out and gathers dust if you keep it loaded with paper. Small nitpick but unwanted one more con😀

FYI the e525w does support cloud print

Nice find! One downside is that it doesn't do automatic duplex printing. You have to flip and reload the paper and press a button to continue the other side.

Great printer, good use of ink rewards if you need a color laser. Aftermarket cartridges are easy to come by and not over-priced. Rep to OP.

NOTE: Offer expires 4/29, and also the OP's link isn't working. I'm finding it here (http://www.staples.com/Dell-C1760...uct_122141) but that might not work too.

I'm getting both links to work, mine and yours. But I have noticed in the past that sometimes SD fouls up these staples printers links and they end up taking you to staples home page

Yes, SD's links can be flaky. So too can Staples website. Regardless, you posted a good deal for an excellent product. I've had mine for over a year and been quite happy. Only bad thing I can say is that the printer's not Google Cloud Print ready (it doesn't have an on-board print server) so you've always got to have a computer running on your network to serve this function. I always do, so this poses no problem for me.

I have this printer after getting tired of buying endless ink cartridges on my HP. The quality is good, it's reliable, and the generic toners are dirt cheap. Also note that this deal always goes out of stock.

Correct, which is why this is still a good deal, even at a little higher than the $60 price for which it is sometimes offered. This one seems obtainable, at least for now.

I also posted the Dell e525w, an all in one color printer. Note that it doesn't have auto duplex, but it does have fax. It is also a little higher than it has been, but it's also elusive.

True---even as low as $50. However they go fast and a lot of people miss out. And this price matches several Popular Deals and a Front Page in February. It has gone Popular even when it's been $85

Then at least your ink doesn't dry out before it empties. That's why I switched to laser--two 1/2 full, dried out cartridges in a row was enough. But if you're in no hurry, then this one probably will go to $60 again in the near future -- if you can get one.

If you don't need color, the e310dw , currently on sale for $50, is a good deal, and that's about as low as that one goes. Or wait for the e515dw or e514dw to go on special, but they go super fast.

Do you know if Dell e525w uses the same ink as this 1760nw?
