No. The Pro cards have more durable MLC flash vs 3D TLC used by the Evo cards. Pro cards have much faster burst write speeds important for 4K video and fast cameras. For the average person watching videos and listening to MP3s, it won't make a difference though.

Great find! 90mb/sec write speed!

personally I don't like very large cards unless i'm using it for a surveillance camera or a rasp pi.
In a camera, i tend to jam way too much stuff on a larger card which is never a good thing when it comes to theft or misplacement. i'd prefer to vacation with a bunch of smaller cards than one huge one.

90/MB write doesn't matter for switch does it?

It's all about reads I think

Great price for this level of performance though

Wondering if I should bite on this. Or is there a better card for the casual Samsung Tab S3 9.7 user? Perhaps 128?

Well the read on that one is 5 mbps faster but the write is 30 mbps slower than this one. I think most people would like the faster write for 4k recording better

No, look for 128Gb Evo Select deal for $25 to come back. This Pro+ is one of the fastest cards around, not needed for casual use.
