This showed up on 6 out of 7 american express simply cash cards. Might be good if you're already a subscriber or if you combine it with a new customer promo and also cash back type site. Maybe even for gift cards as well (which doesn't seem to be excluded). be sure to go through their link at

try.blueapron.com/amex

Details
Get a one-time $15 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $50+ in one or more transactions online at try.blueapron.com/amex by 6/18/2017. See terms for exclusions.

Terms
Enrollment limited. Valid online only. Excludes corporate transactions. Excludes purchases made at third party websites. Must add offer to Card and use same Card to redeem. Limit 1 statement credit(s) per American Express® Card across all American Express offer channels. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 6/18/2017, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items from your qualifying purchase have been provided/shipped by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. POID: CG9U:0001

I didn't see any kind of other discount for new subscribers with this. Nothing on Swagbucks either. $15 isn't enough to get me to bite. Maybe something else will come up to stack with this.

Edit: There does appear to be some stuff through Plenti- 800 points ($8) and $30 off your first order. But when I click through I don't seen anything on the Blue Apron site about $30 off. Maybe I have to go further through the sign up process to see it, which I'll try later.

Newegg orders often throw discounts for this in their boxes. I toss em cause the place is overpriced. If I recall you still have to chop up stuff and basically make the meal.

The top of blue apron's web site has an offer in blue bar (see attached). If not, PM me, I think I got a code in a Value-Pak last week.

I used them a long time ago, prefer Home Chef. Some complain that you have to still cook but to have the right ingredients and not have to go shopping goes a long way.

Thanks. Actually, I see what was happening, the blue bar on your picture says something about MasterChef Junior. After I click on it, then it says $30 off. But this brings up another problem, after a $30 discount, the 1st week plan prices are as follows- 2 people & 3 recipes = $30, 4 people and 2 recipes = 40, 4 people and 4 recipes = $110. But I have to spend $50 to get the AMEX discount. So I either have to do 2 weeks, or the 4 people 4 recipe plan, which is a good bit of money.

I would go with the 2 weeks rather than the 4/4 plan if I were in your shoes. The portions are pretty good. Between two of us, we like the ability to push off a day but if you go with the 4/4, you run the risk of "having" to do a meal one day after the next.

If you have two Amex cards, you could buy gift cards and use those but I don't know if that works, haven't tried it myself.

It says that you need to spend the $$ at try.blueapron.com/amex.

When you go to that website, I do not see the new subscriber discount. Will this work if you just spend the money at blueapron.com? Or do you really need to go through try.blueapron.com/amex?

Thanks!

In past Amex offers, for example hulu.com, that also states that you have to go through a particular URL. That didn't matter in that case so I would assume it doesn't in this. However, as always, things can change.

I just purchased a $50 gc through https://www.blueapron.com/gifts and did not the email from amex for redeeming the offer. So it's not looking good.

I'll report back if i get the email later.

I've been finding Amex emails hit or miss. So you may not ever get the email but if you get the credit that's what counts.

It's like 3-4x more expensive than just getting fresh food at the store beside you. God forbid we leave our computers for a slick deal.
