Palmetto State armory has their PA10 gen 2 upper [palmettostatearmory.com] with 18" SS barrel, BCG and CG for $399.99 with free shipping and handling.

Combine this with their blemished PA10 gen2 complete [palmettostatearmory.com] lower at $199.99 with free shipping and handling. Ending you up with a complete PA10 .308 AR10 for $599.98 including S&H.

The PSA AR-10 utilizes SR-25/DPMS pattern magazines, Magpul's PMAG LR/SR Magazines work great.

Ha, ha...I read "PSA" as Public Service Announcement.

At this price it could be considered a Public Service Announcement I believe. :-) I've been looking at these and they've been between $500 and $600 for the upper only so this is a sweet deal. Especailly with an SS 18" barrel.

Ugh. I'm 3 months away from moving out of the PRK, and I've been wanting one of these badly. I guess I could order the upper at this price and grab the lower once I'm back in the land of the free.

The blem lowers go on sale around $200 to $225 on a regular basis. However the upper normally is between $499 and $549 so that may not be a bad idea considering it's $399.99 now. I've been keeping an eye on these for a few months now and jumped on this combo.

BTW, congratulations on your upcoming escape from the PRK. Hopefully it is to a state a bit friendlier to the likes of us deplorable clingers so to speak Smilie

Heading to NC, so I'd say so. Granted, you could count the states worse than the PRK on my middle finger, so it's not hard to do better.

I'm hoping to put a Vortex Viper 2.5-10x44 I've got gathering dust on the future build, and I'd really rather go with the MagPul PRS stock than the traditional jagged M4 look anyway. Ughhhhh.

If I can verify with the manufacturer it'll work, I'll replace that stock with this one [ebay.com].

But how much does it weigh and did they fix the problems the Gen 1 had?

Tempting. Two questions for those who know:
1. What magazines can PSA lower take?
2. Looking at the PA10 lowers I see
the one in this deal: http://palmettostatearmory.com/ps...32912.html (regular price $399)
and MOE version: http://palmettostatearmory.com/ps...45284.html (regular price $349)

How come MOE version regular price is lower than the plain stock one? And at the current sales prices would it make sense to spend $40 more for MOE version?

Thanks.

Pulled the trigger on the upper. I'll grab the lower in a few months when I'm out of CA.

Better to ask forgiveness than permission.
