I know this is probably not very practical Stick Out Tongue, and one would not choose to take out a mortgage with a certain bank just for $595, though there are so many millions using slickdeals, i thought maybe, just maybe, someone is doing or going to do a mortgage closing with chase, and if you are, they made it SO EASY to get $595 back!

I just got an email from them...

THE RIGHT MORTGAGE IS WAITING, AND SO IS
$595 CASH BACK WHEN YOU:
• Enroll in automatic mortgage payments from a new or existing Chase personal checking account
• Choose paperless mortgage statements

If you meet both requirements, a one-time credit of $595 will be deposited into your Chase personal checking account within two weeks.

You can do it 3 ways:

1) Call them: 866-839-9332
2) Do it on Line: LINKY [chase.com]
3) Visit a branch: LINKY [chase.com]

Best of luck, and if i was able to get at least 1 person here $595 back, im super happy!woot

fine print below:

$595 Cash Back: Customers get $595 Cash Back after closing a purchase mortgage with Chase. This offer is only available for new, residential first mortgage purchase loans submitted directly to Chase. Customers must enroll in the $595 Cash Back promotion online within 60 days of closing with the E-Coupon code provided in the Welcome brochure. Applications received after March 26, 2017 are eligible for the $595 Cash Back promotion. Property address must be included with the application.

To be eligible, a customer must: (1) Have an existing or open a new Chase personal checking account and (2) Enroll in Chase's automatic mortgage payment service. With this service, their mortgage payment will be automatically deducted from their Chase personal checking account. Payments must go directly from a Chase personal checking account to the Chase mortgage and not be managed by third parties, and (3) enroll the new mortgage in paperless statements. All promotion requirements must be met within 60 days of closing.

This offer is available to customers who live within the service area of a Chase branch. Customers who live outside the service area must have an existing Chase personal checking account or visit a Chase branch to open an account within 60 days of closing.

Upon the customer's enrollment, Chase will review the account to ensure the eligibility criteria are met. This offer is not transferable, is limited to one per customer at any given time, and may be discontinued at any time without notice. The $595 Cash Back Promotion may result in reportable income on Form 1099-INT to the customer and the IRS. We encourage customers to consult with personal tax advisors.

All home lending products are subject to credit and property approval. Rates, program terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. Not all products are available in all states or for all amounts. Other restrictions and limitations apply.

Chase is the worst bank to deal with for a mortgage. They get you a preapproval letter quickly, but after that things goes down hill.

I bought my Condo in 2015 and at the time BBVA was the best bank for my situation. We closed in 30 days after Chase wasted 2 months of my time. I don't have a lender recommendation at this time. But make sure you get the mortgage loan from a lender that's in your time zone and is local if possible.

If you have excellent credit (760 and above), Chase has hands down the best rates available.

shop around. in general, banks are the most expensive. find local lenders or go to a website like lending tree. you can get bids.
at the end of the day, most of those end up being sold to those big banks, but you get a much better deal

I tried their auto loan. Vehicle must be no more than 10 years old and limited to auto dealers only. Went with Wells Fargo and it's a lot less restrictive. For me, Chase is only good for credit cards.

look at zillow mortgage marketplace. We closed on a house thru a zillow lender last June. Got 3.5 APY no closing costs for a new purchase.
