Hopefully their willingness to bring back 100k points means the Chase Reserve card could be next.

I have something small going on the side which I report on taxes as well. At the branch I asked if that was enough for me to qualify and they said yes. It was easy. I have a feeling they will let you apply even when you don't have a company.

I was honest, told them I occasionally sold stuff to Amazon (true statement). I buy things and trade them in resell them online. That was enough to get the benefit.

A lot of misinformation in these threads. From actual experience, I was denied in branch, despite having other business cards, even with Chase, and not having an actual business. They told me you HAD to have a business tax id now, per new rules. Didn't believe it so I went home and applied online and it went through but told me to call. I called next day and the guy on phone (bus. reconsid.) approved me no problem.

As a side note, I was told by him annual fee would be waived for first year because I did attempt to apply online. I called back later to verify and a diff rep told me there was no annual until after first 12 months, so would be same diff. Then i got 1st statement with annual fee and I called to complain and no one would budge. So I WAS stuck with annual fee.

I did the spend, got my points and will be cancelling the card soon. F Chase as they are getting more and more strict with these.

I applied for this in early March and was denied because Chase couldn't determine if my business was legit and couldn't establish an appropriate credit limit. The min limit is $5K and they couldn't find documentation stating that my business was even worth $5K. Recon line was no help. Does anyone know how soon is too soon to reapply?

Hi.
Could be more specific as what they asked u on the phone and what conversation u had to get approved on the phone?
I have no business either but have been approved for Chase Business cards in the past.
I applied online and this time I got the msg to call with a reference number.

Thanks

Just say what you said before then. They asked me the same questions they always do. Maybe even less. just needed the call for approval, I guess.
