Hey guys,
Lowest deal I've ever seen for a myq gateway. $19.98 on Amazon
go go go

Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/Chamberlai...ywords=myq - DEAD

Seems like supplies are going fast. If you want a quick brick seek check for HD here is the brickseek link.

http://brickseek.com/home-depot-i...=204029400

Background for this device:
If you have a chamberlain or Liftmaster garage door lift that says "MyQ" on it then you can just buy this gateway to open or close your garage door/s remotely anywhere in the world you have an internet single via the chamberlain/liftmast app or smarthome hubs/apps like wink. Alexa / Echo is integrated with this as well so you can ask Alexa if you door is open or closed.

Also note that if your garage lift does not say "MyQ" on it or is much older they do sell kits that allow you to get this feature on older lifts. see this website for more info. https://www.chamberlain.com/smart...tivity-kit.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Here is the link to the Smart Things code that I am using with the MyQ gateway:

https://github.com/brbeaird/SmartThings_MyQ

Please consider donating to the author of the code using the link at the bottom of the github page. (I am not affiliated in any way with the author and receive no compensation of any kind, just a fan of his development work.)

Hope this helps someone!

For those interested in integrating MyQ directly with Alexa, you can also use this project:

As with Macro's note above, I am not the author of this code and have no affiliation with it, but have used it successfully with Alexa to automate my own garage doors.

Thank you! I was waiting for the homekit version that is delayed until late June, but I can't pass up this price. I can always sell or give it away if I want to change it out in six months for Siri capability.

Of course you show that to me now. Now I need to decide whether to cancel Amazon so I can get it today instead of Sunday. I'm lazy so I'll probably just wait.

The June model is for those openers that don't have MyQ technology, meaning any other brand of opener. The Chamberlain models that have MyQ, will have a compatible opener available by April-May.

I don't understand what this is for. The openers with MyQ or wifi already connect through the home router. Why do you need this?

Per this link, it sounds like both products are delayed. Either way, I'm tired of waiting lol. Just moved into a new construction home and have a garage door for the first time and am constantly worrying about whether I left it up or not.

So, this is just the gateway. You also need some MyQ sensors for each of the doors too, right? I have a Genie opener so trying to find out what else to buy. Thx in advance.
