This is the same TV (I think) that I got from the HHGregg deal a month or so ago. I bought one for me and one for my brother and they've not failed yet. Because I caught wind of the HHGregg collapse I spent a bit more and bought a Squaretrade warranty for both of them. I've not had problem one with mine, and neither has my brother for 60ish days.

Any of you clowns trying to mod this down because it doesn't have HDR 20.5+, perfect color matching via a pantone purchase.. or full theater sound need to go find a rock to crawl back under. This is a bargain basement big-screen TV and you need to manage your expectations.

Peace out.

The same reviewer says: I actually returned mine. Not because there was anything wrong with it, but I was still in the 90 day return period at Costco and a better deal came along. I ended up getting the Samsung 65" Curved 4k TV for under $1000. My buddy still has the Haier though and it is still working great and he has had his for 8 months.

About to pull the trigger, someone please convince me otherwise in a deal oriented argument.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgAbLaGJglI

There is this review which seems favorable, and the other youtube videos say it's regularly had at this 500$ price.

Someone please tell me not to buy this because _____________________.

Thank you for the reply. I just don't know what he meant by "under 1000" that could be $899, you know? I'm not sure if we could see a 65 4k "monitor" like this until BF 2017. If you were in the market (anyone) for a cheap good 65'+, 4k monitor, would you buy this?

I have a Samsung 65" UN65J6200 [samsung.com] that I haven't unboxed yet...would the Haier be better...I think mine is only HD, not UHD, but the Samsung has wifi built in also. I'm not too savvy on TV specs, can someone help me out??? Thanks!

If it is the same Hair I purchased... your TV is 1080p and this is 4k... yours is a smart TV with a web browser and the Hair TV isn't. The Hair isn't a smart tv therefore it doesn't have web access but that didn't stop me from adding a ROKU HDMI stick and making it everything I needed for $60 more.

Not sure what you paid for the Samsung, but keep that over a Haier....Samsungs are absolutely great TV's as most people who know will agree....We have 3 big ones and they last and are high quality...even have more capabilities than some other brands like playing downloaded movies off of USB sticks, etc. (like a built in media player). This Haier 1oalso do that but I would keep the Samsung you will not notice the resolution difference and it will last longer. Now, if you were on the market for a good deal, I would spend 500 on this and probably be happy with it as well....I would trust the Samsung to last 10 yrs or more and with this Haier its hard to say

one more thing I find that the Samsung remotes are awesome...backlit keys with great features and quality built
