This is a great M12 FUEL kit which I own and paid a lot more for. The impact has 2 modes which is nice for when you don't need it to be in beast mode.

The hammerdrill is strong and nice that the kit comes with a 4.0ah battery to drive it.

Many times I leave my 18v stuff at home as this very capable pair can handle a lot of typical jobs.

I agree. I paid $220 for kit during Christmas (local HD) but it came with bonus tool or battery

This is a great deal for a very capable and lightweight set.

Paid $199 in the Fall for this set with a free extra tool so price here is pretty in line depending on which free tool(s) may be available when HD runs that promo. Nice price for a good set.

I own older, non-fuel version of this and I still leave my 18v stuff in the truck most of the time. Great set, very tempting.

Kind of pissed about how the price for this has been dropping like a stone and it looks like they are getting rid of the line as there are nearly zero replacement batteries in Home Depot anymore. It was $199 at HD with an extra tool on Black Friday when I bought it. I am thinking I should stock up on a couple replacement batteries before it is too late and maybe a few extra to jack up the price on when other people are looking when they are no longer manufactured.

Lowes doesn't speak Milwaukee and Home Depot won't do eBay. Try CPO or Northern Tool. But reality is this $149 is killer and tax free and won't be beat.

home Depot has been clearing out the M12 batteries lately. in the clearance endcap section I keep finding 4ah batteries for 64 bucks.

My HD has a massive Milwaukee 12V display, so (at least around here) there are no signs of support ending. Plenty of batteries, plenty of extra tools.

I doubt it - the Fuel line is their brushless (read: higher-powered) lineup. They'd be crazy to do so; it's a clear advantage over the brushed items.

This is a really good price. I thought my find from a few days ago when I bought this ($162.50 - $15 in eBay Paypal promos, so $148.50) was a good deal; this is essentially the same.

Use this 10:1 over my 18v fuel. At this price, it's a good value for even rare use.
