Discover PP with walmart in store price?

I have never done this before. But what is the process of trying to get discover price protection on a walmart item that is at a lower price at a store in a different state. People said screenshots are acceptable but what screenshot do I need to send?

The best way is to go onto the website and check on Local Store then type in the item you want and if you can't find the item go to the page and highlight the numbers at the very end and enter those into the Local Store search. The item will pop up and you are able to screenshot that with the date and submit to Discover. I do this all the time and will use Brickseek to find an even lower price and go to the Local Store for that price on the website to use for them. I've gotten Nikon D3300 for $200 and Canon T6 for $134 doing this. It is pretty amazing what you can price match from Walmart. I was even able to get a few PC parts back in the day before they changed the policy for it.

Does it matter if the store with the lower price shows it as out of stock when I search for the item. Doesnt it have to be in stock for the price match?

I contacted discover and they said I am ineligible to file a price claim since Walmart automatically adjusted the purchase price to the in store price when I picked up. They issued me a refund and because of that my purchase is not eligible. Anybody have any inputs on this situation?

Yes, Discover made their decision. What do you expect random members on a deal-finding website to do for you ?

I was hoping somebody on here who has used Discover PP and faced a similar situation had a different experience?

Thank you for the explanation. I m trying to price match a mobile phone. I searched for the mobile phone UPC, SKU or name in that local store search, but it's not returning anything. But when i do the same in Walmart Mobile app, i m able to get the product listed with discounted price.

So my question is will discover honor price protection using mobile app screenshot? any experience or did you read anywhere any one doing price protection with mobile app screenshot?

Thanks again

Yes, I was able to take screenshot with Samsung multi window option. With one window being calendar and other window was walmart mobile app. Discover approved the claim! Hopefully they do the same for future claims!

you were lucky,, i am still waiting and going back and forth on one of my claims, i have uploaded 4 different screenshots for 4 different stores showing the same lower price and the claims administrator is giving me a hard time.. I guess it all depends on who you get as your claims admin
