from WebMD: "Peanut oil is high in monounsaturated "good" fat, and low in saturated "bad" fat, which is believed to help prevent heart disease and lower cholesterol. However, in animal studies, peanut oil has been shown to clog arteries, and this would increase the risk for heart disease"

They add peanut oil to "heart healthy" blends which has been shown to clog arteries. Why not just leave them in their raw state?

Because it's "Believed to help prevent heart disease and lower cholesterol" I'm thinking they not believing those studies. A lot of people saying now the only fat to stay away from is trans fat, lessing you have heart disease.

The denaturing process in which they extract and heat the peanut oil is the cause of its negative properties. Virgin oils, like coconut and olive, are a great fat because they are in their natural forms.

Aren't these prices the same as the everyday price at Costco or Sam's Club?
