I'm pretty sure this saw has been around the $200 area for a while.

Agree, it is far superior to my Ryobi 10". The Hitachi starts smoother and is quieter than my Ryobi (that Ryobi kicks a bunch when it starts, could be my saw but really think it's just how it is.) My best upgrade yet but know this thing is heavy and cumbersome to move.

Very good price. I saw it for $350 and thought I would post it. After seeing this price I will wait. Good find op.

I have the 10 inch Ryobi that I just bought a few weeks ago and can still return. I am pretty ignorant about tools. What advantage would this 12 inch give me? I am using the Ryobi to replace a fence right now. I will be replacing 5 1/4 baseboard and building a storage shed soon.

Does anyone know if there are good instructions on how to get this saw square? Mine isn't horribly off but it is noticeable.
