My confusion too, but the fact that it says in title and details say model E55-E2 which is UHD made me pull the trigger.

This is defintely a 4K set. Very tempting, but no way this would work out well for the folks with no tuner and a tablet or smartphone required for the smart features.

Agreed. No tv tuner sucks. All of us cord-cutters need free OTA tv!

Tempting. Unfortunately, I've read a lot of horror stories about Wally World refurb tvs. Still, that price is remarkable for an HDR capable tv. New ones are going for around $500 most places.

The rtings review isn't bad. http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/...?uxtv=b5d0

You can get an external tuner for less than $30. https://www.amazon.com/Mediasonic...00IYETYX8? This one even allows you to connect a hard drive and record OTA programs.

Pretty sure thats not the same model.
Edit: I was wrong. A 2017 model with already refurbished at this price?

The review is for the E class Vizios. Under the "check price" list it includes the E55-E2. That is a 2017 model.

I put one in my cart but I never got an offer for an extended warranty when I went to checkout. I wouldn't buy it without one and I don't believe Squaretrade will sell a warranty on a refurb.

edit: I wasn't offered a Care Plan when I put one in my cart but I checked and Walmart does sell extended care plans for refurb tvs. You have to search their site for "care plan". For this model it's $35 for 3 years and $53 for 4 years.

It's amazing how many people return tv's. Go look at the customer service at walmart and look at the shopping carts filled w returned stuff. Can almost guarantee it will have 1 tv or more.

Good for us !

Yeah you are right. I don't get why a 2017 model already has refurbished. Didnt these just get released not too long ago?
