Newegg.com has a better deal. No tax and Free $60 games.. Plus the dual fan card runs cooler, quieter and possibly more overclocking potential.

MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready ATX Video Card.

$219.99 after $20.00 rebate card

Free: For Honor or Ghost Recon: Wildlands game w/purchase, limited offer

I suppose if you want the game that is a better deal. I'd rather not pay $34 out of pocket up front....I have a games backlog... tempted on this to replace an R9 290, but might wait for a 1070..

It's a good deal if you NEED the small form factor version of the card. Most 1060s are $230-250. Now that they have the 9000mhz memory versions, and AMD is joining the fight soon with Vega, prices are getting driven down. This should be the average 1060 6gb price by summer.

BTW, the 3gb 1060 is a completely different card, it has less cores. It should have been the 1050Ti, or 1060SX, or something. Calling it a 1060 was deceptive.

So you would rather pay $206 + 15 tax + $34 = $255 Verses $219 after rebate and updated cooler running card with a free $60 game. I dont get it.

By the time I get around to playing the game (if ever) it'll be $5 anyway. For me the consideration is $240 + (tax on $240) or $206 + tax on $206.

There are a few posts out there saying the single fan, non-SC EVGA cards have a poor cooler... not sure if that was fixed with a update or anything but might be worth looking into.

Supposedly they have a Firmware flash to adjust fan speed at idle from 0rpm to 600rpm. But I'm not sure if the max temps are remedied by that or not, dont think so
