I think it is just like the April 23 deal, only for store pickup. you should check and then perhaps edit your description

this is where the yamaha receivers worth buying start. good find. since oregon, washington and california are the only states that really matter anyway it should be an easy find Smilie

The only thing that matters about those states is how soon a major earthquake breaks them off into the ocean and they sink.

Kind of annoyed. It seems like I get spammed with 2-3 e-mails a day from Fry's but yet I somehow did not receive an e-mail with this ad/promo code.

hopefully other stores start discounting them soon to clear them out. I have a 1040 and I love it. the 2016s will be getting a firmware update to have dolby vision. Have the announcement ed the 2017 models yet?

Wont happen in our lifetimes and not for at least a few hundred years.

This would be the deal for me if only there were a Fry's in New England (or even NY). But there is not.

Preamp Outputs!!!
Where? Not on this receiver.

Onkyo z810 for 699 is much better deal. 130w/channel, and all pre outs.

Are you kidding? Yamaha much better deal and definitely full set of preouts. Look at the photo and the area circled in blue.

Yamaha way more reliable too.

You can use any fry's email from Wednesday and apply the promo code. When you get 2-3 emails per day the promo code is the same for each one.

I checked the specs and pictures. It appears that this unit has full pre-outs.

I was not aware of the Onkyo deal. I currently have an Onkyo RC-180 that is humming along nicely, after hdmi free board repair, but it's missing a few things. One of the most obvious is no return channel audio on CEC. I'm thinking about upgrading it.

My concern with Onkyo is that every unit I've encountered from them runs hot. As in just sitting there not driving much output, they're hot! Have they gotten this under control yet?
