Deal on SiriusXM

We bought a new car with SiriusXM and are currently on a 3 month trial... what is the best way to get a deal on a subscription? Like $99/year or something? Will they offer that to me if I hold out? Don't want it at full price.

The standard offer is 5 months/$25 or 6 months/$30 for Sirius Select. When you call to cancel they will eventually offer you one of these packages before you hang up. Some people in previous Sirius threads reportedly got the All Access for $99 for the year.

That's the one. When 6 months is up just call to "cancel" and they'll offer up one of the two $5/mth plans again. If you have a CC that offers 5% CB at electronics stores (eg Cash+) you can save another 5% by buying a Sirius GC there.

Thanks. I'll try that... but I couldn't figure out how to get their $29.94 offer deal. I clicked on the offer link in the email and the offer didn't show up so I replied to the email to ask them but I have no idea if I'll get a reply. Any ideas? Do I need to call in to get this offer? They need to improve their system as it seems they are making it way too hard.

I called six months ago to renew a long ago cancelled subscription. I mis-read the flyer they sent for 5 months at $25 and told them it said 6 months for $25. The gave me that price with no hesitation.

I called yesterday to cancel before it auto-renewed (aka get a deal on renewal). They started out at $99 for a year. I told them I would only renew if the price was similar to what I renewed at. They countered with $30 for 6 months for Sirius Select and I took it.

They really do need to improve their website, but I think they purposely do this to give their sales reps a chance to keep you. Sirius isn't a necessity for me since I rarely take long trips, but at $30 it's worth it.

The links they've sent me via email have always worked for me, but if you're having an issue I'm sure they'll sort you out by phone.
