amazing mower. great deal for$350. I bought one 3 years ago and still going strong.

the newer model is self propelled but that is going for$550. if your yard has no hills, this is an amazing deal.

Have had the mower about a year. These battery powered tools are ready for prime time. Good battery life and quick recharge. Would not go back to gas.

I just mowed my 1/3 acre lawn in Michigan yesterday. Grass was pretty wet still after three days of rain. Side discharge clogged up on the 21" self propelled mower on half of my passes. Didn't even slow the thing down, just started mulching everything. Sounded like a huge hornets nest getting mad at my lawn. If you have more than a 1/4 acre you will probably need a second battery on any mower. I have a 2.5A and a 7.5A and that gets me through just fine. Wish the 16" chainsaw would go on sale.

The 14" chainsaw is in this sale OP....

Damn was waiting on a price drop on this mower, but didn't expect it to come so soon. I don't want to spend the money yet!

Does anyone know the return values on the individual tools? For instance, if I keep the string trimmer and return the mower?

So testimony on previous replies confirms that the battery power is sufficient for most work, but how is the overall life of the battery and how expensive are they to replace

I love my Ego mower. I can mow my 0.25 acre lot at least twice on a single charge (4Ah battery). That 4Ah battery lasts about 45 min and charges in 30 min, so if you have two, you can keep going indefinitely by swapping. The 21" mower comes with a 5Ah battery that should last a little longer.

No more exhaust fumes or gas is the best part. It's quiet enough that I was able to carry on a conversation with my wife while mowing. She thought somebody was mowing the lawn down the street! The vertical fold is nice for storage as well. I also have the string trimmer, leaf blower, and snow blower, all of which are also great.

That combo with the mower with the string trimmer for $400 is a smoking deal. Great tools, I own almost everything in the line.

They did however just come out with a multi-adapter tool with different heads for trimming/edging/polesaw etc, that will be the base for their future tools.
