Amazon.com has Cuisinart TOB-260 1875W Convection Toaster Oven on sale for $157.02 + tax. Shipping is free. Great reviews with 3 year limited warranty. Amazon has been lowering the price on this for the last week and I finally jumped in.

Isn't this one $99 at Costco?
Edit: never mind it is $159 in store.

I have this and it's great. This is a great price too. The comparable Breville seems to have reliability issues and only a 1 year warranty, fyi.

Wow, they've really lowered the price on these - they were always over $200 when I bought mine less than 6 months ago.

Wonder if the features/specs are different - looks like they added a "1" to the end of the model number for this latest model.

Are these better than microwaves and can they replace them, or for these serve a different purpose?

completely different purposes, this would more or less replace a slice toaster and traditional oven.

but 'better' than a microwave? definitely better for things like pizzas, toast, breads, pies lol...

Looks like it is another Walmart (with store pickup discount) and Amazon price war going on here. Think it can go any lower or should get before OOS?

get both.

jk, if the price difference doesn't matter, get the breville. there are tons of comparison reviews online.if you're going to use it everyday and test the warranty, get the cuisinart

Like the one with Rotisserie, TOB-200. Why can't we have one with Rotisserie and dual racks? Higher than 450F will also be good.

Microwaves are made for speed if you want to reheat or cook something fast. But these are better than microwaves for reheating leftovers and such. I have the bigger model that looks the same as this model but I can cook a whole chicken with it rotisserie style. I highly recommend this brand and model. The quality is solid with metal build all around. The control is easy to use with clear digital read outs. The convection feature moves the hot air around to cook food more evenly and it even automatically adjusts the temperature inside once it reaches a certain preset! Two thumbs up from me!

See my reply above. I think the Breville have similar if not the same internal components as this. The digital control and settings are pretty much the same if you look at it. Breville just added some extra buttons to make it even easier to use. Having said that, I dont have a Breville so I cannot tell you how it performs compare this Cuisinart. But I LOVE my Cuisinart and so does the family. It's also easy to clean. You can get maybe 80 percent of a Breville's performance and features for 50 or 60% less? Plus Cuisinart offers a more generous warranty than Breville 1 year warranty. See more details on its performance on the post above. You guys might want to check with Lowes and use one of their popular coupons to save money.
