iPhone SE 32GB Locked to Cricket $199.99

For cricket customers looking to buy an iphone SE 32GB from ATT. Cricket has it now for $199.99. Now that is difficult to unlock the ATT this would be a better deal IMO since cricket will unlock it after 6 months of using it (if thinking about resale down the road).

If you already have Cricket service, just login to you account, select a line and click on the "Upgrade Phone" button. You will have to purchase a minimum $30 refill but it will simply be added as a credit to your account, no new line of service required.

If you have the service, this is better for cricket customers.

Nice. I could have used this a few weeks ago. I was only able to get 1 of my 2 ATT phones unlocked.

When did AT&T make it more difficult to unlock iPhones? I was able to unlock a GoPhone iPhone SE that I bought on 4/10/2017 without any issues.

In addition, after doing some research on HowardForums, I found out that you can use the AT&T device unlock portal [att.com] on some Cricket phones.

Just to test it out, I had an NIB Cricket iPhone 5s that I got last December when they were on sale that I just activated on Cricket. I used the device unlock portal on the 4/18/2017, and 10 days later, the unlock came through.

I'd recommend that you just try to unlock using the portal as a non-AT&T customer...

It changed recently, people have been getting denied and been told they need to wait 6 months. Lots of people returning them.

This seems like a good deal for people interested in iPhones and prefer the small form factor. I helped my friend get one at an AT&T store (he wanted a 2nd one) for $200 + $30 refill card (they said it was required), and that was a lot of hassle (90 min or so). Not a Apple fan myself, but kudos for the info.

Does anyone know a good unlock site for this phone or ATT as people said earlier ATT will not unlock now giving the 6 month message.

The Boost one is kinda crippled by the funky bands when unlocked, mainly it does not have Verizons Band 13. This is the model used in the US by everyone except Sprint.

Definitely a good deal for Cricket customers. Also, this might be a good deal for AT&T customer, since it should also work them too (I'm assuming). Wish this showed up a month ago, and I would have bought this and ulnlocked after 6 month since I'm on cricket, now I have to take my chances with my AT&T GoPhone on cricker to unlock after a few months.

AT&T phones work on Cricket, Cricket phones do not work on AT&T unless they are unlocked.
