got one from a friend and recently went on a new build of mine and pulling close to 100 mbps that I pay for from my ISP (next to to the router).

Have to admit, it has better signal than my other tower with built in card that gets about 20 mpbs out of 100 mbps. this card on my newer build got about 46 mpbs.

after installing with my my cat 5 connected, it automatically recognized it and didn't have to D/L any driver. it does register as a Realtek device.

Going to buy my third one.

I purchased two at the original price.

They were for my close family members who experienced horrible lag while gaming and browsing.

Now they have no problems with the entire family on when gaming, they even have better ping than me sometimes Stick Out Tongue

edit: Stats

5 GHZ Network (ASUS RT-N56U)

250 Mbps from modem on LAN

Speeds through several walls and a long hallway:

Previous speeds:.01-12 Mbps download, .01-7 mbps upload. From lowest to max. Average was about 3 Mbps download

Current speeds: 15-75 Mbps download, 10-15 upload. Lowest to max. Average was about 50 Mbps download

I was pretty amazed myself, I was doubting myself when purchasing them.

For all you non-prime folks, select Glam Hobby (make sure it's not via Amazon) for free shipping. Thanks OP, will give this a shot.

Is this a WiFi card with antenna or just an antenna extender?
