I ordered one today using Canon Customer loyalty program. I'm sending them back a 15yr old point& shoot for $60 off the $799. They don't care if it works or not. Charged me $740 +tax.....and sending a prepaid postage for my trade-in. Google it...just need to call them.

unless you are full invested in canon glass...Current Nikon deals are substantially better! just check out the d5500 2 kit lens for only $600... unbelievable. Or the D750 with glass and battery grip for only $2k.

This was actually cheaper last time, the 80D with 18-55mm kit was $830.

Not a bad deal if you are invested in Canon's ecosystem. Many people are upset at canon as they felt they deliberately omitted the 4k feature or just didnt put in enough effort.

If sony will put out comparable lenses without trying to bankrupt the average photographer. I considered switching to Sony but the lens are too expensive for my taste. Canon is expensive as well but if you look carefully, there're other 3rd party lens for cheaper prices.

I'm not sure why the thumb downs but I think this is a good deal. If have not bought the one from the last week FP deal, I would get this one. BTW, if you willing to go through perkspot, the price will go down to $770.41+taxes.

One word, adapter. I'm using MC-11 with A7ii and Canon lens right now and it works great. But again, I'm not using for wildlife/sport nor video.

I just did this with the previous 80D + 18-55mm deal for $830. There is basically 10 years of evolution between the 40D and the 80D! You will feel right at home with the 80D but have tons of new stuff to explore Smilie

Even better, it cost me only $680 after using a well know cash-back site and selling the 18-55mm for $100 :-)

Reading the fine print, these offers are available until June 3rd. I feel like I should've gone with the previous 18-55mm deal for $830 even though I really want the 18-135mm. Best deal I've seen for the 80D with 18-135mm lens was from Adorama at $1,049 and that also included a Pixma Pro-100 printer and was not a refurb. Makes the current deal for a refurb 80D + 18-135mm for $1,149 not seem that great. Come on Adorama, bring that 80D bundle deal back!

This is legit and great information! Rep'd - basically tax free. Make sure you get the right total cost when you call to place the order as I had to call back to make sure they took off the 60$ bucks off after I saw the order confirmation and it resulted in a cancel + re-order. I found an old Powershot from 10 years ago in the drawer and thats whet they are taking back. Looking forward to a a new Canon in the house as good glass, superior autofocus speed and a nice grip is hard to find in the mirror-less alternatives I looked at.

This is awful advice. Nikons are crap compared to equivalent Canon and Sony cameras
Careful there grasshopper. If the Nikons boys and girls read your comment, this thread will be another 500 pages deep.
